TAPUA, the son of Ripia & Takere above left goes on to marry TE KAWEHAU, the daughter of Te Tua, above right, uniting the descendants. They go on to beget Hinemaru Tapua (f), Patuone (m), Tamati Waka Nene (m), Te Anga (m), Te Ruanui (m), Hohaia (m) and Tari (f).

Hinemaru Tapua & Koperu Te Koupuro begat PERA (m), Matau (m), Taura Te Toko (m), Whe (m) and Tamangana (m).

Waipihanga-a-rangi & Wai-Kamania begat MOEAHU (m), Moraki (m), Raewera (m) and Whakutu (m).

Te Tawai became the second wife of Huna Te Mahara Kawiti; they begat TE RUKU KAWITI (m) aka “the Duke”.

Te Ruku Kawiti and his second wife, Te Tiwha Te Angiangi, begat TUWAHINENUI (Tuwahine or Tuahine) Wakemanaia Kawiti (f).

Tuwahinenui and Mordecai (or Moriki) a Jewish immigrant, begat WAA WAA SHORTLAND (m), Hohaia Shortland (m), Heni Lydia Shortland (f), Riria Heeni Shortland (f) and Hoterene (Te) Rangaihi. Te Ruku later arranged another marriage for his daughter to Ruatara Tauramoko, effectively banishing Mordecai.

Waa Waa Shortland married Te Para Ereatara (second wife) and begat HEREMAIA HEREWINI (m), Waa Hoterene (m), Maungarangi Hoterene (m), Taki Hoterene (m), Mihiwira Hoterene (f) and Moke Hoterene (m).

Heremaia Herewini Hoterene married Huria Rotohiko Rako (second wife) and begat TE AO MARAMA HOTERENE (f), Puti Herekaia Hoterene (f), Maehi Rewi Hoterene (f), Rotohiko Heremaia Hoterene (m), Te Koha Hoterene (m), Awaroa Hoterene (f), Waa Waa Hoterene (m) and Henare Heremaia Hoterene (m).

Te Ao Marama Hoterene married Hetaraka Wiamate Anaru. They begat RIPEKA ANARU (f), Adelaide Anaru (f), Hare Anaru (f), Mere Henare (f), Moana Nui Akiwa Anaru (m) and two other daughters.

Ripeka Anihana nee Anaru & Matiu Merengi Anihana begat SONNY CRETE ANDERSON, Gaylene and Aroha.

Sonny Crete Anderson & Wendy Collits begat a son who was adopted and named by Bernie & Raye Ogilvy later that year, Warwick Ogilvy (1970 –). Wendy had another son, Vaughn, to a later partner in Australia. Sonny had a later partner called Robyn to whom he had two sons, Liam and Karl, who live in Australia as well. Both Sonny and Robyn are deceased. Moe mai ra, korua, moe mai ra.
