Te Mairanga married Tiro (m) of To Roa (later, he married Taratu of Ngati Kawa). Their ten children consisted of seven boys: PAEKORAHA, Te Waiata, Te Maunga, Te Toko, Te Maara, Tonganui and Te Hamua and three girls: Huia, Pakinga and Waitarehu (who married the renowned Toa).

Te Waenga (or "Waianga") Tuoro – also known as Te Manene – the famous tohunga of Omapere. They begat

Punga; she went on to marry John Martin (1796-1863). Maro & Waenga also begat Hoani Tuoro (m) who went on to marry Marara Tuoro (1807-1900); and Marara Mahuhu (f) who married Tiopira Kinaki (their youngest child,
Piipi Raumati Tiopira, passed away in 1952).

Kiriora and John Martin begat MARY MARTIN (b.1828) who later married John Rowe; Maria Martin (b.1839) who later married William Wells; and George Martin (b.1840) who later married Elizabeth Ann Chapman, daughter of Alexander Chapman and Rora (also known as Auroroa Matilda Pahihi or Paheke).
